It was with great sadness last week that we learnt of the sudden death of our Ballachurry Volunteer, Adam Kelly.
A work party stalwart, Adam willingly took on any task asked of him. Whether down in the ditch or lost in the brambles, he would simply get on with the job and give it his best shot. Then during our tea breaks he would keep us amused with his witty remarks and puns before getting stuck into the job in hand once more.
We shall miss Adam very much at our work parties but Ballachurry Reserve will serve as a beautiful and peaceful place to remember him - a living memorial.
The thoughts and prayers of all the volunteers are with Adam's wife, Margaret, and all his family at this very difficult time.
