Ballachurry Reserve, 8th July 2020


Meadowsweet in the meadow
I arrived at the Reserve on Wednesday  shortly after ten and enjoyed recording the wildlife for a couple of hours, after which I picked up my shears and cut back brambles round the beehive loop which were making access difficult. My husband had already done some light strimming  along the gorse boundary where the bracken and brambles had been brought down by the stormy weather. So hopefully visitors will now find it easier to walk round the reserve.  Here is what I recorded during the morning:

Birds:
