Happy New Year 2021! + Used Stamps for local Charity.

A very Happy New Year to everyone who follows this Blog. The new year has certainly got off to a sunny start here in the Isle of Man  - excellent weather for wildlife watching  at all the Manx Wildlife Trust's public reserves and elsewhere round our beautiful Island.

Janet, our Southern Group Secretary, has just reminded me that Manx Wild Bird Aid can take used stamps and convert them into cash to help their charity. If you saved the stamps from your Christmas Cards here is a worthwhile cause to which to send them and please do continue to save them throughout the year. You can find out more about the work of Manx Wild Bird Aid on their website and Facebook page:

Here is the address to which to send the stamps (cut and pasted from Facebook) . They also have a collection box at Tesco and other locations round the Island.

If you can’t get to one of our drop off points please send them in the mail to me :-
