a final word on Ladybirds 14th June 2020

Just before I post last week's sightings from Ballachurry, here's something else on Ladybirds that might interest you.We had nearly 50 x 7-spots in the garden today! But the most exciting thing was seeing a larva starting to pupate.I managed to capture it on video.

 I went back to look at it again about 5 hours later and it was by then a recognizable Pupa

It's been an altogether wonderful day for insects in the garden today so I am hoping that my next visit to Ballachurry will be equally interesting.
