Ballachurry Reserve, 6th November 2020.

 Blue skies and autumn colours

A drizzly morning on Friday quickly gave way to a blue sky day so I headed down to the Reserve as soon as my regular  commitments allowed, arriving around 1.30 p.m. Not a cloud in the sky and beautiful sunshine, although it is so low at this time of year that it's really quite dazzling.  I had more logs to add to the log pile again but was soon doing my regular walk around the Reserve. As last week at this time, all was very quiet but around 2.45 the birds began to appear again from their afternoon siesta. Here is the report:

Birds:

SC209494 Blackbird; Woodpigeon; Great Tit

SC208694 Song Thrush; 50 + Woodpigeon flying over; 5 x Long Tailed Tits
