BallachurryReserve, 16th December, 2021

winter colours, Ballachurry.

The weather was gloomy on Thursday but the wildlife was not! There were quite a few birds flitting about even if I wasn't always quick enough to see them properly before they disappeared into the heart of the undergrowth again. There was also a Thrush singing its welcome and still an odd flower or two in bloom. Here is what I recorded:

SC209694  (from hide) Great Tit; Wren; Heron flying over; male and female Chaffinch; Goldfinch x 12 flying over.

SC209694 ( elsewhere)  Wren; Great Tit x 2; Dunnock; Song Thrush; Blackbird.
