A huge thank you to James Nolan and helpers for completing the turf roof on the bird hide last Sunday. I'm only sorry that I was unable to be there myself, but grateful to Janet and Ian for capturing the work with their cameras. This has been a major project on the Reserve to which many people have contributed in many different ways -physical hard work, financial donations, loan of facilities & equipment, transport of materials, and a lot of behind the scenes ordering and organisation. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way, great or small. We also wish James well in his new job next year.

Finally, a word of apology if you came along to help but found yourselves redundant! Please do come back next Saturday morning, 19th November for our general Work Party from 10 till 1pm ( or whatever time you can spare). We have some major tasks lined up and many hands make light work. There will be something for everyone this time. Hope to see you there.
