A really quick posting, this one! I went back to the Reserve the day after our work party to cut back the vegetation behind the Bowman bench which we had missed the day before. It took just a few minutes to complete, but while in the Reserve I noticed the following wildlife:
SC209694 Red Admiral, 2 x Blue tits.
SC208695 Meadow Brown, unidentified white flying; Shieldbug nymph, probably Forest Bug.
SC208694 Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler heard but not seen; 7 spot Ladybird.
SC209694 ( hide) 3 chicks & 1 adult Moorhen
SC208694 tiny arachnid found in wheelbarrow - money spider/ mite / tick? Seeking identification.
