Weather permitting our next work party at Ballachurry Reserve will
be on Saturday, 10th November from 10 till 1 as usual ( or whatever you
can manage in that time scale) We are expecting a delivery of pea
gravel (thank you Corletts!) some time this week so the task will be to
fill the grids along the pathways. Shovels, barrows, rakes etc. will be
needed. We can provide some but if you can bring your own that would be
helpful.
If time and numbers permit we could
also prune/ rake out a channel in front of the reeds to improve water
flow between the boardwalk and dam. Shears, secateurs, sickles, rakes
etc. for this task. Wellies and work gloves needed.
I
will confirm nearer the time that these are the tasks for the day (
depends on gravel delivery). Refreshments half time as usual. Do hope
