Our next bit of excitement is the bat and moth night on July 22nd, 9.30 till midnight ( you don't have to stay till the end but the moth traps will be working until then) First a bat walk round the reserve, with a short talk and some detectors provided. Then the moth event, which is being held in July this year as we should see different species coming in from last year. Experts on hand to show/and identifiy what is caught. "The later the hour, the more exotic the moths"!
This event is weather dependent, so please check the Facebook page above if at all doubtful.
Hoping to post my records from last week's walk round soon - running a bit late this week!
