Just a reminder that the next work party at the reserve will be Saturday 18th November. Time 10.00 till 1.00, or just drop in to suit your own timetable.
We shall be removing multiple tree guards, dealing with recent storm damage and doing a bit of bramble bashing if time permits.
Stout shoes & work gloves needed. Please bring secateurs, loppers etc.for the brambles if you have them. We'll be cutting through cable ties and probably the plastic tree guards themselves if necessary so suitable tools for this job also welcome. An extra barrow or two might also be useful in which to dump the tree guards. We'll also need some saws to cut through the fallen branches where they are still partially attached to the trees.
Refreshments provided as usual but offers of cake always welcome
