Ballachurry Reserve, 31st August 2018.


Good to see our turf roof has greened up
 and survived the drought
This visit to the the reserve was a combination of a recording visit and a pre-Work Party recce to assess what tasks needed to be done the following day. Here is the recording part of the visit:

Birds:

Bindweed - can be a nuisance in our gardens
but actually an attractive flower in the right place

I went round the front of the Hide to check something prior to
the Work Party and noticed this Painted Lady in the water mint

I know I attended the Spider Workshop but I still
hesitate to identify this spider!
