Firstly a huge thank you to everyone who turned out again on Saturday morning to shift the mountain of wood chip. We got most of it done but some still remains.
Over refreshments we had a brief discussion about this and decided to perhaps have a final push to get the job finished. Rather than ask everyone to give up yet another Saturday morning we are going for Wednesday afternoon. Richard, myself and some barrows/ rakes will be there to make a start from 2 p.m. but just come along when convenient. It shouldn't take much more than an hour perhaps, so do ring 408151 to check we are still there if you are setting out much after 3 o/c
Some of you will be at work and some off-island so I'm afraid you'll just have to miss the cake this time! Nevertheless, do hope a few of you others will be available to lend a hand. Shovels, rakes and good barrow if you can get it there very welcome.
Many thanks,
Sheila
PS Photos and an account of last Saturday's work party to follow when time permits + a recording visit on 5th April and some impromtu sightings from 8th April too, just for good measure.
